Dr. Taye will be doing a locum for the month of October and hopefully will be a regular with us ongoing.

Dr Taye Chai studied medicine at the university of Qld in Brisbane and currently spends her time working in Tasmania and on the Sunshine Coast in Qld. She has been a family general practitioner for over 15 years with interests in paediatrics, aged care, women’s health, mental health and skin. She spent most of 2024 working in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander communities in the Kimberley’s in WA, in the NT and on Mornington Island. In her free time she loves hiking, skiing, fishing, cooking,  gardening and spending time with her 2 grown up sons.
