Comprehensive diabetes care is available from diagnosis and includes complication screens and insulin initiation if necessary. All patients with diabetes are offered to join our diabetes register which will send prompts for twice yearly comprehensive screening which includes foot and kidney checks as well as prompts for free immunisations.
