Dr Claire Griffiths graduated from The University of Tasmania in 2021 and has spent the past three years working in North West Tasmania, her birthplace and home. She is passionate about rural and remote health and emergency medicine, having completed her extended skills in Emergency Medicine at the North West Regional in 2024, and aims to provide holistic care for patients in Tasmania in the ongoing future.
Whilst maintaining some provision of care in Emergency in 2025, she is commencing her general practice term under the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine at The Deloraine Medical Centre.
Her interests include Aboriginal health, older persons health, emergency medicine and children’s health.
Outside of work Claire enjoys playing touch football and rugby union, spending time with her family, and being on country.
